Converting from
Sensitivity in Counter-Strike 2
Also applies to CS:GO
Counter-Strike 2 keeps the classic Source yaw of 0.022° per count (the m_yaw value), which is why its numbers carry over to Apex and TF2 unchanged. Raw input is always on, the field of view is fixed, and scoped speed is set separately with zoom_sensitivity_ratio.

Converting to
Sensitivity in Deadlock
Deadlock is Valve’s Source 2 hero shooter with an over-the-shoulder camera. Its 0.044° yaw is exactly double CS2’s, so the quick manual conversion is to halve your CS2 value. The competitive scene is still young, so its common range mostly reflects CS2 players who moved over.

Where CS2 players land in Deadlock
Competitive CS2 players mostly use 0.8–1.5 at 800 DPI, which converts to Deadlock 0.4–0.75. Deadlock players typically sit at 0.5–1, so a typical CS2 sens lands inside the usual Deadlock range once converted.
FAQ
CS2 to Deadlock sens questions
How do I convert CS2 sens to Deadlock?
To keep the same feel, divide your CS2 sens by 2 (or multiply by 0.5). At the same DPI, CS2 1.2 equals Deadlock 0.6. If you play Deadlock at a different DPI, enter both DPIs in the converter above and it compensates.
What is CS2 1.2 in Deadlock?
CS2 1.2 at 800 DPI is Deadlock 0.6 at 800 DPI (exactly 0.6). Both need 43.3 cm of mouse movement for a full 360° turn.
Is CS2 sensitivity the same as Deadlock?
No. CS2 turns 0.022° per mouse count at sensitivity 1 and Deadlock turns 0.044°, so the same number in Deadlock is 2× faster. That is why you need to convert.
Where do I change sensitivity in Deadlock?
Settings → Mouse → Sensitivity.
Why does Deadlock feel different at the converted sens?
The converted value matches your 360° distance exactly, but CS2 and Deadlock use different fields of view and camera setups, so targets can appear to move at a different speed on screen. Make sure mouse acceleration is off in both games and in Windows, then give it a few sessions before tweaking.
