Converting from
Sensitivity in Valorant
Valorant runs on Unreal Engine with a fixed 103° horizontal field of view, so nothing in the video settings changes how fast hipfire feels. Scoped sensitivity is a separate multiplier (default 1) applied on top, and the menu takes up to three decimals.
- Where to set it
- Settings → General → Mouse → Sensitivity: Aim
- Common range
- 0.25–0.5 at 800 DPI (33–65 cm/360°)
Converting to
Sensitivity in Deadlock
Deadlock is Valve’s Source 2 hero shooter with an over-the-shoulder camera. Its 0.044° yaw is exactly double CS2’s, so the quick manual conversion is to halve your CS2 value. The competitive scene is still young, so its common range mostly reflects CS2 players who moved over.

FAQ
Valorant to Deadlock sens questions
How do I convert Valorant sens to Deadlock?
To keep the same feel, multiply your Valorant sens by 1.5909. At the same DPI, Valorant 0.35 equals Deadlock 0.56. If you play Deadlock at a different DPI, enter both DPIs in the converter above and it compensates.
What is Valorant 0.35 in Deadlock?
Valorant 0.35 at 800 DPI is Deadlock 0.56 at 800 DPI (exactly 0.55682). Both need 46.7 cm of mouse movement for a full 360° turn.
Is Valorant sensitivity the same as Deadlock?
No. Valorant turns 0.07° per mouse count at sensitivity 1 and Deadlock turns 0.044°, so the same number in Deadlock is 1.59× slower. That is why you need to convert.
Where do I change sensitivity in Deadlock?
Settings → Mouse → Sensitivity.
Why does Deadlock feel different at the converted sens?
The converted value matches your 360° distance exactly, but Valorant and Deadlock use different fields of view and camera setups, so targets can appear to move at a different speed on screen. Make sure mouse acceleration is off in both games and in Windows, then give it a few sessions before tweaking.
