About

Apex sensitivity explained

Apex Legends runs on a heavily modified Source engine and shares CS2’s 0.022° yaw, so the same number turns the same distance in both. The FOV slider does not change hipfire turn speed, but ADS speed follows each optic’s zoom and can be tuned per optic once hipfire is set.

Apex scopes use per-optic ADS multipliers on top of this value; this converts hipfire.

FAQ

Apex sensitivity questions

What is a good Apex sensitivity?

Most competitive Apex players use 0.9 to 2 at 800 DPI, which is 26 to 58 cm of mouse movement per 360° turn. If you are coming from another game, convert your current sens first instead of copying a pro's: muscle memory matters more than the number.

How do I convert Apex sens to another game?

Multiply your Apex sens by the ratio of the two games' yaw values, 0.022° for Apex divided by the other game's yaw. The table on this page lists the multiplier for every game, and the converter does the same math with your DPI. CS2 and TF2 share Apex's yaw, so the same number carries over unchanged.

What is the Apex yaw value?

Apex Legends turns 0.022° per mouse count at sensitivity 1. Multiply that by your sensitivity and DPI to get degrees turned per inch of mouse movement. Apex scopes use per-optic ADS multipliers on top of this value; this converts hipfire.

How many cm/360 is Apex 1.5?

At 800 DPI, Apex 1.5 takes 34.6 cm (13.6 in) of mouse movement for a full 360° turn. Doubling your DPI halves that distance.
