Formula
Apex to TF2 formula
TF2 sens = Apex sens × 1Apex Legends turns 0.022° per mouse count at sensitivity 1; Team Fortress 2 turns 0.022°. The ratio of the two, 0.022 ÷ 0.022, is the multiplier. It holds at any DPI as long as you use the same DPI in both games.
Apex: Apex scopes use per-optic ADS multipliers on top of this value; this converts hipfire.

Converting from
Sensitivity in Apex Legends
Apex Legends runs on a heavily modified Source engine and shares CS2’s 0.022° yaw, so the same number turns the same distance in both. The FOV slider does not change hipfire turn speed, but ADS speed follows each optic’s zoom and can be tuned per optic once hipfire is set.
- Where to set it

- Common range
- 0.9–2 at 800 DPI (26–58 cm/360°)
Converting to
Sensitivity in Team Fortress 2
Team Fortress 2 runs on the original Source engine with the classic 0.022° yaw shared by CS2 and Apex. Set m_rawinput 1 to bypass Windows pointer settings; fov_desired (up to 90) changes how fast things look on screen but not your 360° distance.

Where Apex players land in TF2
Competitive Apex players mostly use 0.9–2 at 800 DPI, which converts to TF2 0.9–2. TF2 players typically sit at 1.5–3.5, so most Apex players land on the slow side in TF2. Plenty keep it that way: your muscle memory matters more than matching everyone else.
FAQ
Apex to TF2 sens questions
How do I convert Apex sens to TF2?
You don’t need to: at the same DPI, Apex Legends and Team Fortress 2 use the same yaw (0.022° per count), so your Apex sensitivity carries over unchanged. If you use a different DPI, enter both in the converter above.
What is Apex 1.5 in TF2?
Apex 1.5 at 800 DPI is TF2 1.5 at 800 DPI (exactly 1.5). Both need 34.6 cm of mouse movement for a full 360° turn.
Is Apex sensitivity the same as TF2?
Yes. Both games turn 0.022° per mouse count at sensitivity 1, so the same number turns the same distance.
Where do I change sensitivity in Team Fortress 2?
Options → Mouse → Mouse sensitivity, or sensitivity in the console.
Why does TF2 feel different at the converted sens?
The converted value matches your 360° distance exactly, but Apex and TF2 use different fields of view and camera setups, so targets can appear to move at a different speed on screen. Make sure mouse acceleration is off in both games and in Windows, then give it a few sessions before tweaking.
