Converting from
Sensitivity in Valorant
Valorant runs on Unreal Engine with a fixed 103° horizontal field of view, so nothing in the video settings changes how fast hipfire feels. Scoped sensitivity is a separate multiplier (default 1) applied on top, and the menu takes up to three decimals.
- Where to set it
- Settings → General → Mouse → Sensitivity: Aim
- Common range
- 0.25–0.5 at 800 DPI (33–65 cm/360°)
Converting to
Sensitivity in Team Fortress 2
Team Fortress 2 runs on the original Source engine with the classic 0.022° yaw shared by CS2 and Apex. Set m_rawinput 1 to bypass Windows pointer settings; fov_desired (up to 90) changes how fast things look on screen but not your 360° distance.

Where Valorant players land in TF2
Competitive Valorant players mostly use 0.25–0.5 at 800 DPI, which converts to TF2 0.8–1.59. TF2 players typically sit at 1.5–3.5, so most Valorant players land on the slow side in TF2. Plenty keep it that way: your muscle memory matters more than matching everyone else.
FAQ
Valorant to TF2 sens questions
How do I convert Valorant sens to TF2?
To keep the same feel, multiply your Valorant sens by 3.1818. At the same DPI, Valorant 0.35 equals TF2 1.11. If you play TF2 at a different DPI, enter both DPIs in the converter above and it compensates.
What is Valorant 0.35 in TF2?
Valorant 0.35 at 800 DPI is TF2 1.11 at 800 DPI (exactly 1.11364). Both need 46.7 cm of mouse movement for a full 360° turn.
Is Valorant sensitivity the same as TF2?
No. Valorant turns 0.07° per mouse count at sensitivity 1 and TF2 turns 0.022°, so the same number in TF2 is 3.18× slower. That is why you need to convert.
Where do I change sensitivity in Team Fortress 2?
Options → Mouse → Mouse sensitivity, or sensitivity in the console.
Why does TF2 feel different at the converted sens?
The converted value matches your 360° distance exactly, but Valorant and TF2 use different fields of view and camera setups, so targets can appear to move at a different speed on screen. Make sure mouse acceleration is off in both games and in Windows, then give it a few sessions before tweaking.
