How it works

Same mouse distance, same turn

01

Each game has a yaw

Yaw is how many degrees the camera turns per mouse count at sensitivity 1: 0.022° in CS2 and Apex, 0.07° in Valorant, 0.0066° in Overwatch 2.

02

We match cm/360°

Sens × DPI × yaw is degrees per inch. We solve for the sensitivity that gives the same centimetres of mouse travel for a full turn.

03

You paste one number

Rounded to the precision the game accepts, with a warning if rounding changes your speed by more than 1%.

new sens = old sens × (old yaw ÷ new yaw) × (old DPI ÷ new DPI)

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does a sensitivity converter work?

Every game turns your camera a fixed number of degrees per mouse count at sensitivity 1, known as its yaw. Multiplying sensitivity, DPI and yaw gives degrees turned per inch of mouse movement. The converter solves for the sensitivity in the new game that turns the same amount, so a full 360° takes exactly the same mouse distance.

Is ConvertSens really free?

Yes. Every game, every conversion and every conversion chart is free, with no account, no premium tier and no limit on how many conversions you run.

Do I need to enter my DPI?

Only if you use a different DPI in each game. When both DPI fields match, DPI cancels out and the result depends only on the two games. If you change DPI between games, enter both and the converter compensates.

Why does my converted sensitivity still feel different?

A matched 360° distance means identical turning speed, but a different field of view changes how fast targets appear to move across your screen. Third-person cameras, mouse acceleration and Windows pointer settings can also change the feel. Give it a few sessions before tweaking.

Does this convert ADS or scoped sensitivity?

No. ConvertSens converts hipfire (look) sensitivity. Most games scale ADS and scope sensitivity from hipfire with their own multipliers, so set hipfire first and keep each game’s ADS multiplier at its default.
